  • attended and delivered a speech at the 3rd Congress of Dutch Maritime Industry 2012 on 7 February 2012 in Rotterdam
  • attended the COP 10 of the Basel Convention on 15th October 2011 and made a statement in plenary as follow up to two written submissions of April and August 2011
  • attended (and delivered a speech on) the 3rd Asia Ship Recycling Summit Green Standards on 30 June – 1st July 2011 in Shanghai
  • supported and attended the 6th Annual Ship Recycling Conference on 14-15 June in London
  • attended, with various members as speaker, the Tradewinds Ship Recycling Forum, 1-2 March 2011, Dubai
  • attended the 7th International Forum for Scrap Metals - 2011, February 17-18 Moscow, Russia as speaker.

  • held its fifth general meeting in Hong Kong on December 13, 2010

  • attended ACI's Ship Recycling Conference, 20 and 21 October 2010, London. Among the speakers ISRA secretariat and at least one associated ISRA member

  • attended the BIT's Marine Tech Summit-2010in Dalian, China on 25-28 October 2010 with one speaker

  • Attended the TradeWinds, China Ship Recycling Forum, 29 September 2010 in Beijng. Among the speakers were 2 associated ISRA members

  • attended  the 5th Annual Ship Recycling Conference in London on 23rd and 24th June 2010, ISRA is supporting this conference with not less than 5 speakers!

  • attended the 2010 Asia Ship Recycling Summit with one speaker on July 1-2, Shanghai, China

  • attended the 4th Annual ShippingTech Summit 2010, April 28th  - 30th, 2010 Shanghai, China

  • attended the 3rd Annual Shipping Finance Asia 2010, 3rd & 4th February 2010, in Singapore

  • held its fourth general meeting in Izmir, Turkey on December 14, 2009

  • attended the Ship Scrapping and Recycling Lloyd’s Maritime Academy on the 29th and 30th October 2009, London, UK

  • attended the 2009 Asia Ship Recycling Summit with two speakers, July 2-3 in Shanghai, China

  • held its third General Meeting in Sjanghai on 15th of December 2008

  • attended ISO meeting in Sorrento on ISO 30.000 on 28th of October 2008

  • attended Joint ILO/IMO/Basel Convention Working Group on Ship Scrapping -Third Session in Geneva on 29-31 October 2008

  • been among the speakers at the Ship Recycling Conference 13/14 May 2008 Courthouse Kempinski, London (Achieving profitable ship recycling while adhering to sound environmental and working practises)

  • held its second general meeting at the Park Plaza Victoria in London on March 31st 2008

  • given a presentation in workshop G (Soil and Water Contamination) at the Greenport/EcoPorts 2008 Conference in Amsterdam, 28th of February 2008

  • held a reception with stakeholders to celebrate the incorporation of I.S.R.A on Tuesday January 22nd 2008 in Nantes, France, at the occasion of the Intersessional Meeting of MEPC, IMO.

  • attended the launch of the Global Program for Sustainable Ship Recycling of the Basil Convention in Bangladesh on 13th January 2008.

  • attended a meeting of the European Commission concerning the Green Paper on shipdismantling held in Brussels on November 28, 2007
